MAICh’s Library was established in 1985 and expanded in 1992.
The purpose of the Library is to provide a high quality service in support of the Institute’s teaching, learning and research by developing and promoting access to a wide variety of information resources through the Institute’s networked computers for access to its catalog, reference tools, e-journals, etc.
We have over 7000 books, 11000 papers, 467 serial titles (printed, microforms, or on-line subscriptions), covering the full range of subjects taught at the Institute.
Our material is catalogued according Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules, classified according of Dewey Decimal Classification (ed. 21), and we are indexing it by Library of Congress Subject Headings.
Also we corporate with the libraries of CIHEAM’s Institutes at IAMM, IAMB, IAMZ.
