ABOUT THE LIBRARY
The Library was established in 1985 and expanded in 1992.
The Library supports MAICh’s educational mission of providing access to information resources and services to meet the needs of students, researchers and staff. It is also open to the general public as a reading library.
Its collections contains books, journals, reference works and e-resources that focus on agriculture, horticulture, agricultural economics, environmental management, food quality and chemistry of natural products.
The Library uses the Library of Congress Subject Headings to subject indexing its catalog and Dewey Classification System to classify its books.
The MAICh Library has a web version library system, ADVANCE Elidoc, that provides cataloging, serials, and circulation modules. The online catalog can be accessed through any web browser, either on or off campus.
