Library
The Library is housed in the main building on the campus of MAICh. It is a research library specialised in the fields of agriculture, horticulture, agricultural economics, environmental management and food quality. Its main mission is to support the research and teaching needs of MAICh students and personnel in accomplishing the educational purposes of the Institute.
The Library was established in 1985 and expanded in 1992.
The primary source of the Library for providing information to its users is the online catalogue (OPAC). The collection consists of about 7000 volumes of monographs and 500 periodical titles mainly in English and Greek. It also provides access to online databases.
The material is catalogued according to the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules, classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification (ed. 22), and indexed by the Library of Congress Subject Headings.
The Library also cooperates with collaborating Institutes at MAI Montpellier, MAI Bari, MAI Zaragoza.
The Library is member of the Journals Union Catalogue by the National Documentation Centre.

Monday to Friday: 08:30-22:00
Saturday: 14:00- 22:00
Sunday: Closed
The Library is closed in August.
